It’s extremely difficult to fully encompass or find the correct words to express gratitude to someone that has brought such excitement of new awareness, growth, and confidence into my life; but Chris Avery has done just that for me and more. If there’s ever a person in my life that deserves recognition for having the ability to help me awaken my true potential; it would be him.

Right from my very first meeting with Chris, he began challenging me. He started challenging me by allowing me to challenge myself through his thought provoking questions. Chris had first taught me mindfulness to see the way I spoke to myself, and then taught me tools to work through it.

Today, I truly do see mistakes as a stepping stone to growth. I see negative dialogue now as just a part of life sometimes, but not as something that controls me. I see it as a challenge to use my tools that Chris Avery taught me to succeed in even further growth. I won’t sit here and write “I don’t have fears anymore” when challenges or opportunities arise to me, because I do. BUT, they don’t stop me anymore and leave me stunted. I now know I am fully capable to work through them; and I AM STRONG! That little girl may come from time to time with doubt, but Thank you, Chris with all my heart for believing in me when I had such doubts in myself. Throughout my life and drug addiction i have experienced all sorts of trauma. When i first started meeting with my sober coach chris avery i was clueless on how to solve my recklessness i caused through my addiction and everyday problems baffled me. I felt as if i would never make it out of this huge mess that my life had became. Meeting with chris at first i had my guard up i wasn’t comfortable with talking about any of the trauma i had encountered. It took months before i would even talk about it but chris was patient and worked with me at the pace i needed. I never felt rushed or insecure with telling him my problems once i had started talking about them. He was very genuine and down to earth with his method of giving feedback and i never once felt judged. My favorite thing about chris and sober coaching is i never once felt pushed into doing anything i wanted to do. I believe a huge part of moving forward is having the option to do it at your pace and this has been mastered with him. When i wanted to grow and be challeneged he flipped it into high gear but when i just needed someone to vent to he would let me do that as well. Even when i left the house and started making some really quite terrible decisions he was there to help me get back on my own two feet. His program is amazing and i advise it to anyone struggling in life or anyone who wants to become and all around better person and need that extra push in life.

Chris Avery coaching is a brand that has a core value of integrity. Having worked with him for over a year now, I have found him to be insanely insightful and prodigiously practical. Coaches often coach you from their experience and often along the path that has led them to be successful in certain areas of their lives. I've been with Chris for about 2 years working on my goals and habits. He's helped me dig deeper into the real reason why I do the things. He held me accountable to my goals so well that when I didn’t hit my goal, he was alongside me in my self-made consequence because he is my teammate. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to express the gratitude that I have for Chris. This journey I have begun from where I once was throughout my addiction and ailments has shown me where I am going in my life. He allowed me to see the brighter side. The wisdom he has freely given to me has allowed me to have the future I have desired for so long. I now have the freedom to choose for myself and not be confined in the dark negativity of endless thoughts bottled up in my mind taking up space.

Chris, you helped me start my new beginning two years ago. I did not believe in myself because I listened to people who did not believe in me. I had no trust in anyone whatsoever, and I started to place myself as being the victim. When you became my coach my environment went from tunnel vision seeing the only things wanted to see, to expanding my vision and seeing the whole picture. I can confidently say now that I believe in myself and in others. You showed me that in order to believe in others, I must believe in myself first. There was like a dominoes effect into trusting in others, because if I could not trust in myself, how could I trust in anyone else? Today I am employed by a multi-billion dollar company, I am living on my own and supporting myself. I have a steady relationship and can finally see myself settling down with a wonderful and beautiful young lady. I would not have made it this far so quickly without your guidance Chris.
